Massages Benefit Worker Productivity
From law offices to car dealerships, valley employers are beginning to realize that downtime can actually be productive. Companies, large and small, have begun to establish workplace wellness programs for their employees. Programs include gym memberships, breaks for yoga and workplace massage.
A study performed by the International Journal of Neuroscience concluded that massage therapy reduces anxiety and enhances electroencephalogram patterns of alertness and math computations. The New Year is the perfect time to begin a workplace wellness program with chair massage and more.
The Back Rub Company is a workplace massage group that is often called on to provide massage services as well as other modalities for various businesses around the valley.
Owner Tiffany Richards says she has expanded the company to provide yoga, breathing and relaxation techniques, Tai Chi and Chi Gung and movement courses. Employers and their employees can choose from an array of programs that are customized to fit their needs.
